The sinuous movements of these four splendid girls from Ethiopia, Helen Berga, Mekedes Tesfaye, Seira Birhann and Hoftamu Yazachew, might resemble those of agile panthers rather than reminding us of elegant queens. They received their artistic training in Addis Abeba and went on to present their refined skills at important international venues, providing a series of successful performances. With extremely refined and pure techniques, revealing advanced artistic talent, they execute cunning, 'poetic' movements in a perfect style. Their complicated and difficult interlacing movements generate arabesques and castle-like formations. These agile artists create mysterious figures, reminiscent of mythological creatures or animals of the jungle, as they might appear in a fantasy reality illustrated by the writer Emilio Salgari. For the Salieri Circus they have prepared an original choreographic performance.
