This artistic gymnast, who graduated at the National Circus School in Vietnam, is a leading star at the Saigon Circus, where he has created a new model of performance, contributing to a renewal of the oldest form of public entertainment in the world. Quoc Huy is considered one of the greatest representatives in the new era of the Vietnamese circus. Seemingly as light as a butterfly, this artist manages to effectively and intimately interact with the wheel, the instrument employed in his on-stage performance. He appears to reveal an intimate rapport with this acrobatic instrument. He moves it from a variety of positions: standing, crouching and lying down, moving at an incredible speed, as if he were driven by an ever stronger wind, and in a relentless whirlwind reminiscent of the vortices of mysterious whirling dervishes. At the Salieri Circus he presents an original choreographic interpretation following the melody of the Adagio in G Minor by Albinoni.
