Aerial Straps

Artist Salieri Circus Award
Pas De Deux Straps

Two highly-skilled dancers. who love to engage in aerial dancing rather than simply performing on the surface of a stage. It is by no mere chance that Ernesto Lea Place and Caitlin Quinn define themselves as 'aerialists and dancers'. In Boston (USA), where they are based, they created an aerial strap act that differs from more customary artistic performances, generating a soft, sensual, tender and romantic effect, also with a touch of irony, and which at the same time is powerful, staggering, dramatic and daring. In their ongoing artistic research, which never seems to end, the two acrobats love to explore the various links between their bodies. Their aim is to engender a story, creating a refined visual experience of rare charm. For the Salieri Circus they will present a novel choreographic performance, following the melody of Pachelbel's famous Canon in D Major.
