Shall we state that it is an emotional experience? This is perhaps the best way to refer to these displays of gymnastic prowess. With this fascinating trapeze dance, created specifically for the Salieri Circus, the two French artists Emeline Goavec and Yoann Benhamou certainly stimulate an emotional response on the part of their audience. We may say that it is an encounter between two souls who recount a tender story of love and attraction, presenting a state of great energy, passion and deep feelings while being illuminated by a powerful light. It is an intimate, sensual, intense and profound scene. The atmosphere appears to hold no secrets for these two artists, who are also excellent dancers and whose habitual dwelling is apparently up there among the wings of the seagulls. They are constantly hanging on to ropes, trapezes, straps, fabrics, cubes and spheres in an infinite flight of love.
